M Luna: The Best of Both Worlds

M Luna, one of renowned developer Mah Sing’s numerous exciting and talked-about developments, is ready to receive eager aspiring homeowners-to-be from young families and professionals looking for that ideal package of a new home set in a location nearby to both the bustle of metropolitan life plus the soothing calm of surrounding greenery, surrounded by all the necessities of living — transportation, highways, schools and healthcare facilities.

The M Luna development consists of two blocks of serviced apartments set within 5.47 acres of land in KL North, an area that counts the lush Kepong Metropolitan Lake Garden as its neighbour just 100 metres to the west, while the Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM) is less than five kilometres away. For those willing to travel just an extra one and a half kilometre further, the Bukit Lagong Forest Reserve serves as an additional green lung for local residents to enjoy.

The two blocks, with a North-South orientation, house more than 800 units each, designed to appeal to families who see the practicality in the two and four bedroom layout, but with the added magic of having views of the KLCC skyline, the Lake Garden and of the famed Genting Highlands in the neighbouring state of Pahang.

Stellar views aside, excellent connectivity is one of the development’s outstanding features. The proximity of M Luna to the MRR2 is a key benefit — the MRR2 is a major artery in the network of highways that criss-cross KL and PJ. A hop and a drive on the MRR 2 takes you to Jalan Kuching, among others, and onto the Golden Triangle and the iconic Petronas Twin Towers.

Additionally, the MRR2 links to other key routes such as the LDP, the NSE and the DUKE highways. This indicates how central and well-served M Luna is for the city dweller who needs to travel locally for work and play. For those who prefer the more environmentally-friendly mode that is public transport. M Luna is well-served by two MRT stations less than 3.5km away.

The proximity to both the city and green spaces places M Luna in a key location fulfilling the needs of a professional to be near the centre of the capital city for work and play, while still affording the homeowner the nearness of calming lush green spaces by the 140-acre lake and its garden as well as the beloved FRIM, so if you are a nature lover, trekker, or just looking for wide, open green lungs within an expanding city, M Luna is worth considering as your first home base. Imagine bringing your young children to the park every weekend for fresh air, sunshine and health-boosting activities.

While location is important, so is accessibility and the proximity of amenities — homeowners who are settling into family life often look at nearby schools and conveniences such as grocery shops and hypermarkets when deciding where to buy their first home and raise their new family.

M Luna is perfectly poised to cater to the necessities of life — such as healthcare and education — as well as being located near to multiple retail centres. Firstly, M Luna is surrounded by four schools, all less than 7km away. The nearest one at 2km away is SMK Kepong, while St Mary’s School of Kuala Lumpur is less than 5km away. These short distances mean parents do not have to stress out over sending their kids to school thanks to the proximity to M Luna.

When families and homeowners are in need of medical assistance, M Luna’s proximity to Hospital Selayang – just 5kms away – makes it an even more ideal location. Additionally, the Taipei TCM Medical Centre and the UiTM Medical Faculty Selayang Campus are optional medical facilities nearby, providing more choice for local residents.

As any homeowner and resident knows, sustenance and supplies are oh-so-important; we all need food, drink and basic necessities for daily life, and in this respect, M Luna is situated in an area with a plethora of retail spaces, shopping malls and market places, which includes Aeon Big Kepong Tesco Extra Selayang, the Selayang wholesale market, Aeon Mall Metro Prima and Selayang Mall, among others.

Affordability is a key focus for the Mah Sing Group, which has priced the units at M Luna starting from an indicative price of RM385,000.

Coupled with the nearness of these amenities, facilities, schools and garden parks, all these contribute to the fact that M Luna is a highly attractive option for future residents and homeowners, especially with the option of using ride-hailing services, knowing that you needn’t travel far to get what you need. Additionally, its nearness to both natural beauty and cosmopolitan areas of the capital gives you the best of both worlds. Why wait?
