Admiral (R) Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Abu Bakar Bin Abdul Jamal was the 10th Chief and the first four-star Admiral of the Royal Malaysian Navy. Admiral (R) Tan Sri Abu Bakar served the Royal Malaysian Navy for almost 40 years both at the staff and command levels culminating in the highest office of The Chief of Navy from 1998 to 2002.
Admiral (R) Tan Sri Abu Bakar was the former Chairman of Affin Fund Management Berhad and also the former Chairman of several companies covering diverse industries post his retirement including naval and marine, property development, construction and automative. He was also a former Board member of Lembaga Tabung Angkatan Tentera (Armed Forces Fund Board).
In recognition of his services not only to Malaysia but also towards promoting international and regional understanding and peace, Admiral (R) Tan Sri Abu Bakar was bestowed the Panglima Setia Mahkota award carrying the title Tan Sri. In addition, he also received international recognition in the form of the following awards:

Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Leong Hoy Kum founded the plastics manufacturing division in 1979 and listed Mah Sing Group Berhad on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange in 1992. He also led Mah Sing’s venture into property development in 1994.
His vast experience spanning over 40 years as well as his entrepreneurial spirit culminated in the Group expanding rapidly with projects in Malaysia’s main growth corridors, namely Greater Kuala Lumpur, Klang Valley, Johor, Penang and Sabah. In 2020, Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Leong also led Mah Sing to diversify into the healthcare industry via glove manufacturing.
In recognition of his achievements, he was conferred the Darjah Paduka Mahkota Selangor (D.P.M.S.) which carries the title of “Dato” and the Jaksa Pengaman (J.P.) awards by his Highness, Sultan of Selangor in 1996 and 2001 respectively. Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Leong was conferred the Darjah Kebesaran Sultan Ahmad Shah Pahang Yang Amat DiMulia – Peringkat Pertama Sri Sultan Ahmad Shah Pahang (S.S.A.P.) which carries the title “Dato Sri” on the Sultan Pahang’s 77th birthday on 3 November 2007 and the Darjah Panglima Setia Mahkota (P.S.M.) which carries the title “Tan Sri” in 2009.
He also sits on the Board of Directors of various other private companies.
He is the brother to Executive Director, Datuk Seri Leong Yuet Mei.

Dato’ Voon Tin Yow has 40 years of working experience in the construction and property development industry, which includes 3 years in construction site management and 37 years in management of property development.
He holds a Master of Science in Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
He began his career in 1984 at Kimali Construction Sdn Bhd as a site engineer and went on to become the development engineer at Juru Bena Tenaga Sdn Bhd in 1986. In 1990, he joined Syarikat Kemajuan Jerai Sdn Bhd as Project Manager and was subsequently appointed as the General Manager in 1994. He was previously an Executive Director (“ED”) at S P Setia Berhad and held the post of Chief Operating Officer from 1996 to 2014, during which he also acted as the Acting President and Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”) from 1 May 2014 until 31 December 2014.
During his tenure in S P Setia, he oversaw the development of the entire ecosystem to establish the company’s policies and procedures. On the international scene, Dato’ Voon also oversaw S P Setia’s successful ventures in Vietnam, Australia, Singapore, United Kingdom and China. He played a key role in leading the Malaysian consortium comprising S P Setia and Rimbunan Hijau Group to jointly develop the China-Malaysia Qinzhou Industrial Park in the People’s Republic of China, a government-to-government-backed project with notable Chinese partners. Dato’ Voon joined Eco World Development Group Berhad in 2015 as an Executive Director. He was also a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of Eco World International Berhad since 2017. He resigned from the board of both companies in February 2020.
Dato’ Voon was appointed as the CEO of IOI Properties Group Berhad on 15.04.2020. He was responsible for the overall management of IOI Properties Group (“the Group”)’s business in its various business segments of Property Development, Property Investment as well as Hospitality and Leisure; and took the helm in executing strategies that deliver sustainable growth for the Group. He retired from IOI Properties Group Berhad on 1 July 2023.

Mr Lionel Leong Jihn Haur holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Finance from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia.
He worked in a Malaysian Investment Bank for a year before joining Mah Sing Group Berhad in March 2013 as General Manager of Group Strategic Development and Projects. He was promoted to Director, Group Strategy and Operations in March 2016.
His experience includes strategic planning and managerial roles in General Management, Corporate Transformation, Digitisation, Process Improvement, Business Development, Corporate & Investment, Project Development and Group Quality Assurance.
Mr Lionel Leong is the son of Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Leong Hoy Kum, the Founder and Group Managing Director and a major shareholder of Mah Sing Group Berhad. He is also the nephew of Datuk Seri Leong Yuet Mei, the Executive Director of Mah Sing Group Berhad.

Dato’ Steven Ng Poh Seng has more than 30 years of experience in audit, accounts, corporate finance and financial investment. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in accounting from the University of Wales (UK). He is a member of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. He worked in a Chartered Accountancy firm in United Kingdom and upon his return to Malaysia, he served as a Manager in Malaysian International Merchant Bankers Berhad before joining S P Setia Berhad. After 8 years of service in S P Setia Berhad, he left as Head of Corporate Affairs prior to joining the Company.
In recognition of his achievements, Dato’ Steven Ng was conferred the Darjah Kebesaran Mahkota Pahang Yang Amat Mulia – Peringkat Kedua Darjah Indera Mahkota Pahang (DIMP) which carries the title “Dato” on the Sultan Pahang’s 82nd birthday in 2013.
He is currently the Executive Director of the Company heading the Group Corporate and Investment division.

Datuk Seri Leong Yuet Mei has 25 years of experience in the property industry. Datuk Seri Leong holds an ACCA Certified Diploma in Accounting and Finance. Datuk Seri Leong was a member of the Malaysian Institute of Management (MIM) and the Research Institute of Investment Analysts Malaysia (RIIAM). She was attached to RHB Securities Sdn Bhd as a Dealers Representative since 1991. Prior to that Datuk Seri Leong was with KAF Discount Berhad as a Senior Accountant.
In recognition of her achievements, Datuk Seri Leong was conferred the Darjah Kebesaran Panglima Mahkota Wilayah (P.M.W.), which carries the title “Datuk” on 1 February 2018.
She was also conferred the Darjah Kebesaran Seri Mahkota Wilayah (S.M.W.), which carries the title “Datuk Seri” by Duli Yang Maha Mulia Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah on 1 February 2021.
Datuk Seri Leong is the elder sister to the Founder and Group Managing Director, Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Leong Hoy Kum (a major shareholder of the Company).

Encik Abd Malik Bin A Rahman is a Chartered Accountant member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA), a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK) (ACCA), and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA). He is also a member of the Malaysian Institute of Management (MIM) and a Fellow of the Institute of Corporate Directors Malaysia (ICDM).
Encik Abd Malik has held senior management positions in several companies covering diverse industries during his working career including oil & gas, manufacturing, fast moving consumer goods (FMCG), multi-level marketing (MLM) and port logistics.
Encik Abd Malik is formerly the Chairman of Affin Hwang Investment Bank Berhad, and formerly an independent director of Affin Bank Berhad, Affin Hwang Asset Management Berhad, Boustead Heavy Industries Corporation Berhad, CYL Corporation Berhad, Innity Corporation Berhad and Lee Swee Kiat Group Berhad.
Encik Abd Malik is currently an independent director of public listed companies, Amway (Malaysia) Holdings Berhad, as well as a private limited company.

Ms Ho Kim Poi is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and a member of CPA Australia. She holds a Bachelor of Mathematical Science from University of Adelaide and Masters in Business Administration from University of Lincoln.
Ms. Ho has more than 30 years of experience in finance, human resource, supply chain and change management through her involvement in local conglomerate and multinational companies.
Ms. Ho began her career in KPMG as a senior tax consultant. She previously held senior management positions including regional roles from her employment with multinational corporations in pharmaceutical and multi-level marketing industries.
Apart from her directorship in the Company, she is also a director of public listed companies, Senheng New Retail Berhad and Amway (Malaysia) Holdings Berhad.
